Andrew Borg was born in Melbourne in 1966 and spent the majority of his childhood living on a large farming property in Central Victoria.  Growing up in the country, and attending a small primary school (Highlands Primary - where the entire student population totalled about 14), allowed his imagination to grow.  His love for writing fantasy stories undoubtedly began at a very early age.

After completing his secondary education at Assumption College, Kilmore, he entered university at Bendigo, Victoria where his biggest achievement was meeting his future wife, Debra.

Subsequently, he served as an Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force for eleven years, before settling back in Victoria, with Debra, and two young children. 

He is currently working full time as a civilian employee within the Department of Defence, whilst undertaking part time university studies.

Apart from spending time enjoying life with his family, his main interests include coaching junior cricket, and Australian Rules football.  Writing has been a passion and a hobby for several years.   The Wyvernstone is his first published novel.

Andrew is a member of the Australian Society of Authors and the Victorian Writers' Centre.
